- Prepared to invest some of your summer to give yourself a headstart in the fall? THEN YOU ARE!!
New ‘49ers admitted for fall can “move up” their entry date to summer (Second Session) with no further application fee by contacting the Admissions office at 704-687-2213 or unccadm.uncc.edu. Please indicate in your email or phone call that you wish to change your enrollment to summer. If you have AP credits, have your official score reports sent to Admissions as soon as possible so that your may receive all applicable credits prior to registration for the fall. Choose one of the courses listed at the “Course List” link above and on our summer website at www.summer.uncc.edu. The courses are pre-selected to satisfy one of your general education requirements.
Your AP credits and the major you plan to pursue may influence your choice of course. The best time for advising is during your SOAR visit, but if you are registering for Freshman Headstart classes before you are scheduled to attend SOAR, you can contact advising1@uncc.edu with questions and course selection.
