I just wanted to let some of our friends who helped us this summer know how well the Aspire! Health program we did for Gear Up North Carolina was received by their students.  There’s a really nice newsletter article attached here.  Thank you all for your great help – and be warned - we’re starting to plan for next year already!

Good Morning Eimear,

Thanks so much for sending over the dates.  For Aspire Health, we could go ahead with the week of 6.28-7.2.  Thanks for letting us "stake our claim" so early!  Please keep us in the loop about the other Aspire camp dates.  The IT program sounds great, as does Engineering & Technology.  I completely understanding about things moving at slow and disjointed paces - feel free to reach out anytime.  Perhaps when you all know more about the summer camps and schedule offered, we could discuss options for GEAR UP sending a number of students to one of the other Aspire camps as we previously wrote about.  In the meantime, feel free to reach me any time if there is anything you would like to discuss (919) 843-5875. 

Also, attached is a draft of our fall GEAR UP Student Newsletter.  Our lead article is on the Aspire program - thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity.  The feedback from staff and students was incredible!
